Sidewalk Construction/Work

Area:        North sidewalk along Pollock Rd adjacent to the Millenium Science project
            The sidewalk North side of Pollock Rd adjacent to the Millenium project site, West of the bus stop to the parking lot entrance adjacent to Thomas Building, will be closed to allow construction of a sidewalk protection tunnel. Signage will be placed directing pedestrian traffic across the street. The bus stop should not be affected.

One Service Parking Space-Blocked

Area:       West side of the Telecommunications Building

Sidewalk Closing

Area:       Sidewalk Located between Whitmore Lab and Pond Lab
            This sidewalk will be closed to provide laydown area for a construction project in Mueller Lab. Pedestrian traffic will be re-routed around the closed portion of sidewalk.

Road Closing

Area:       Alley between Computer Building and The Pasture Research Lab
            From Curtin Road to Eisenhower Road the roadway will be permanently closed.

Parking Lot and Entrance

Area:       East Side of The Pasture Research Lab
            Across from the Berkey Creamery

Sidewalk Closing

Area:       West sidewalk along Bigler Road from Pollock intersection to Student Health Center
            The sidewalk to the West side of Bigler RD from the intersection of Pollock Rd to the North side of the Millenium construction site below the Student Health Center will be closed to allow for construction activities associated with the Millenium Building construction project. Pedestrians will need to cross to the East side of Bigler Rd at the Pollock intersection to the South or Student health Center to the North. Handicap accessible route is available at the MBNA location and Pollock Rd  intersections. Signage will be provided.

Service Drive Relocation

Area:       Service Drive to Schreyer House
            Early next week, Fiore will direct service vehicles to the Schreyer House to use the new driveway alignment.

  The existing gravel driveway will be removed.  Access will be maintained and there will be no disruption to Schreyer House activities.  Fiore will have fencing and flagmen in place to ease the transition.

Permanent Road Closing

Area:    Shortlidge Road from Pollock to Eisenhower Auditorium

Shortlidge Road from Pollock to Eisenhower Auditorium is permanently closed.  Access to Ritenour Parking lot is now via a new road from Osmond Lab traveling between Boucke and the Telecom Building.

Permanent Parking Lot Closing

Area:    Lot Red H 

Lot Red H - west side of Rec Hall south gym, accessed from Atherton street will be permanently closed on 04-01-2005.  The lot is the site of the new Rec Hall Wrestling and Student Fitness Center.  Parking spaces have been relocated at the west and south sides of Noll Lab, accessed from Burrows Rd.
